Lokman Hekim - Potential New Acquisition to add 200 bed capacity

  • Due-diligence starts to acquire Adatip Kurtköy Hospital. Lokman Hekim has announced that it has signed a non-disclosure agreement to start due-diligence to acquire Adatip Kurtköy Hospital in Pendik. The sale is subject to successful completion of due-diligence work and regulatory approvals. If the acquisition goes ahead as planned, a final share transfer agreement to acquire Adatip with all its assets and liabilities will be signed. The final agreement will also govern the terms of a planned lease contract for the real estate.

  • Hospital with 200 beds conveniently located by Sabiha Gökçen Airport. .Adatip Kurtköy Hospital in Pendik has 200 bed capacity, 115 of which have Ministry of Health license operating on a closed area of 25,000 square meters. Pendik is a large district on the far-eastern end of Istanbul on the Anatolian side. The town itself is home to major transportation hubs. Importantly, Sabiha Gökçen Airport, Istanbul’s second airport, the 5th largest and the fastest growing in Europe is in Pendik. Adatip Hospital is in close proximity to the Airport and downtown Pendik.

  • A major potential addition to Lokman's network. Adatip Hospital is a landmark project for Lokman Hekim. The hospital would add 27% to Lokman's existing bed capacity and potentially more to its operating revenues and EBITDA. Adatip is ideally located to grow an exports business in medical services, while serving a vibrant domestic market in and around the Airport.
